(download) dos navigator 1.51lfn beta 3 full 1999/7/20 (~710kb) (screenshot) this archive is equal with the archiv at ritlabs, except it contains my modified lfn-version. dos navigator 1.51lfn beta 1 source (~58kb) dos navigator 1.51lfn beta 2 source (~78kb) dos navigator 1.51lfn beta 3 source (~100kb) info: to compile the source you need also the source from ritlabs. long filenames under dos pascal unit v1.2 (~27kb) long filenames under dos pascal unit v2.0 (~48kb) this unit is for you, to program borland pascal 7 programs with lfn support. (information) this build of dos navigator 1.51 can handle the long filenames of windows 95 & 98 (sorry, nt is not tested!). the long filenames are displayed in the description part of the panels. for installation information read the readme.txt in the zip-file. (minimum requirements) os: windows 95 osr2, windows 98 or higher and a dos-box :-) (warning) this build cannot copy/move files with long filenames!!! the next beta will go another aproach! it will have it's own name column for the long filenames, this is in the works, but have some time. (features of beta 3) - runable in plain dos and dos-box the plain dos don't display any lfn's, sorry! - displaying of long filenames - creating long directory's - path in commandline is long pathname - viewing of file gives in the title the long filename - renaming of lfn's with ALT-INS (description edit)
